Rolling Road Closures: Tour of the Great South Coast cycling race

We would like to advise that Cycling Victoria will be hosting the Tour of the Great South Coast in Port MacDonnell in July 2017.

The event is expected to attract 400 Victorian, interstate and international competitors and crew. The event is supported by the District Council of Grant.

In order to ensure the safe running of the event there will be road closure in place as follows.

27 July 2017:  Sea Parade,Port MacDonnell  (between 8 Mile Creek Road and Jeffries Street) will be closed to all but local traffic between 10am and 3pm for the start and finish of the race. (Actual times to be confirmed)

 

ROLLING ROAD CLOSURES will occur as the cyclists pass along the districts roads.

Road race, starting and finishing in Port MacDonnell,  via Allendale East, Pelican Point, Carpenter Rocks, Blackfellows Caves, Blue Lake Golf Links,  Donovans, Brown Bay,  Riddoch Bay, Race Course Bay
