The Port MacDonnell Bayside Festival is a community organised family festival held annually on the first Sunday in January (except New Years Day) on the Port MacDonnell foreshore attracting 8,000 people.
There are 60 sites offering food, children's rides and activities, arts and crafts and great live entertainment throughout the day, plus the traditional favourites including the Fun Run, Octopus Throw, Pie Eating Competition, Yabbie Races, Vintage Car Cisplay and great fun all day.
The festival serves to promote Port MacDonnell and surrounding district by featuring local produce, entertainers and novelty events while promoting the coastal culture of Port MacDonnell.
- Entry cost:
- Adult: $5.00 (Paid admission receives a complimentary Lucky Gate numbered wrist band, great prizes are drawn in the afternoon.)
- Child: Free under 10 years.
- Student: $2.00 (Paid admission receives a complimentary Lucky Gate numbered wrist band, great prizes are drawn in the afternoon.)
- Family: $10.00 (Two adults and two children. Paid admission receives a complimentary Lucky Gate numbered wrist band, great prizes are drawn in the afternoon.)

PORT MACDONNELL 150TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

The 150th Anniversary of the naming of the Port of MacDonnell was celebrated over Easter this year!
