 The Allendale East Public Hall Committee maintain and hire the hall for public and private functions.

District Council of Grant Youth Group (GYG)

GYG is a group of dedicated young people committed to improving the District Coucil of Grant region for young people.

The GYG usually meets on the third Wednesday of every month- during which time we hold informal meetings (with free food and drinks) where issues related to youth, particularly within the District Council of Grant, are discussed, and young people are able to convey their views, and really be heard in their community.

The GYG is improving the quality of life for young people, by providing information services through our website, and by creating fun, free, and safe days out where young people can enjoy themselves.
